Creatures that remind me of Aliens

This creature is called a leaf-tailed gecko they are found in Madagascar and they are highly camouflaged in the daytime but at night time they are noticeable giving them a good hunting technique. This reminds me of a alien as its so strange and different from any other creatures.

This is a Gerenuk which is a long necked species of antelope. There found in parts of the desert and have a small head in comparison to the body but quite large eyes and ears which are for escaping predators. To me they look odd and have features which are so out of proportion it reminds me of the portrayed way that aliens look.
